Avalon/Knowledge Test/Round 5
our 3 hero are sitting in the local coffee-shop drinking... coffee with herbs... Suddenly a large warrior enters and call for aid. It looks like our northern regions are under an attack of monsters. And he needs a couple of volenteers to help him! The bar is filled with sturdy warrior who's ability to think straight has been elliminated by overuse of herbs.So it doesn't take long before he has 9 volenteers.
-Hey! You there the one who is recruiting! mind if Minsc, mini-grim and me join ya?
- Actually yes, we are already with 10...
-Then you'll have to suck it up! We're joining!
- OK, i'll explain the problem while we travel.
THe group of warrior start to head north by horse to neter some schips that will take them north. The Leader of the group tell's them they are moving out to combat a group of eil monsters. They live in the mountains near their town and are responsable of killing multiple villages.
Once the men arrive at their locations it seems like a lost cause... A village without any defenses, no mouth no wall, everything will have to be build...
- Minsc you rally all available men and get them to work on a blokkade. Because according to the lord of these lands those monsters could be attacking this evening! Mini-grim gather all the children and give them training in the art of trowing rocks! We will defend this town!
when the evening crept near, the blocade was finished. Not a Bastion wall like those in Cetduul but enough to keep the monsters out for a while. But what monster are we facing? None of our hero's knew, the villagers wouldn't speak about these demons. they were afraid to talk about them! Not long after the sun had set the monsters appeared, these where huge ammounts of manlike creatures on horseback! Riding arround the village and fiering arrows!
-Stand strong men! Fire back! Drive them arrows into their skulls!
BANG the blocade failed! thousend of these critters poured into the town killing all who stoud between them and victory! OUr 3 hero's fought brave and manage to kill hunderts of them. suddenly mini-grim choped of thehead of one of these being and noticed that benaeth the mask lie the face of a human!
- Mylord Grim-Reaper these are humans not monsters!
-Wel i already figured that out when i saw 2 of them talking about the weather earlyer this evening... But it means we can scare them off! lets kill their leader they will be scattered whithout his guidance!
So bravly they charged into the heath of battle striking down the leader of the army, creating choas and panic temits their ranks... The battle was over quikly! because togheter with the demise of their leader a large cav force showed up at the horizon. Lucius and his mounted death finaly made it here!
