| “Till Imperialism Come!”
Empire, I have lost the election for Grandmastership again. I am not dissuaded by this defeat by any means. In fact, I foresee many electoral defeats in the future. I lost last time, I lost this time and I will lose again and again. I will lose until the sun sets in the East and rises in the West, until the mountains blow in the wind like leaves – but I will continue to campaign. This is the unsinkable spirit of Imperialism drawing me forward. My cause is just, my ends are true, my methods are pure. Chief among the founding principles of Imperialism are inclusion, community and progress. The others of course are duty, worthiness and civic responsibility. The Morek Empire can and will embody Imperialism in the future for I shall remain a vocal advocate for non-Astromancer rights, be it with my voice or with these printed words. What I say in these pages will stand the test of time even after I am long dead and buried. Imperialism, the solution to theocratic discrimination and limited-scoped policies, will reign! A noble of the Empire must learn to see her peers as equals, not as faithful or non-faithful. The day that happens all glass roofs will shatter and I will smile.

| "The Grandmaster Election in the Winter of 19 YD"
I have had the privilege of campaigning in one of my finest elections, made so by the nobility of the Empire and by my opponent Ordermarshal Ingi Vlad, now reigning Grandmaster. Both candidates promoted Imperialism albeit to a different degree. I stood as the staunch and pure Imperialist while Lord Ingi was the moderate, both imperialist and theocratic. His appeal to both camps earned him the Throne, well done Grandmaster! Referendum Results The winning choice is therefore Ingi, with 50 votes. A simple majority was required (i.e., 1 votes). Only lords will vote, representing their region. Here is a collection of the speeches and debate during the campaign for those who are interested in politics.
