General Information
Melhed has not always been as it is now. Back in what is called the Age of Blood, it was an Empire, led by the Emperor Tsu Sun. Melites were involved in many an armed conflict. After sending a vicious, blood-lusting suicidal army at a foe consisting of several nations' armies, and promising to do so again and again if that's what it would take to defend their country, the realm of Melhed gained the reputation of being fierce to the point of perhaps insanity. Agyr was fortunate in the second major wave of monster invasions to be spared the brunt of many hordes. Located somewhat in a corner, between river, ocean, and rural land, the locals can only put forth that perhaps there was no place to travel to past Agyr. The Imperial district itself is the old section of Agyr, built at the top of the cliffs around the Bay of Souls. The land drops off steadily as you head towards the other districts and the outer wall making the old city an excellent defensive location.
