Seven nobles total were lightly wounded during this short battle, in which the second Taran "liberation" of Meldeen was interrupted. Although Meldeen had been taken over by the invasion forces earlier in the week, due to the brutality of the occupation (in which production and morale had plummeted to nothing), its population of Redspaniard citizens revolted and overthrew the "liberation" two days before Redspan and Abington forces arrived.
