Great work with the other battles too (especially the small descriptions, I like them) but there is no need to update all the battle reports we stored under the sirion battle page. Surely your reports are cleaner and better but there is really no need for you to do all that stuff :P. And nice battle in Tabost too btw. About Meristenzio, well, the 3 days agreement should be still active. Perpahs he might be freed before if you captured some important noble and the judges exchange them, but I doubt Fontan will set him free so lightly hearted. We will see, but the prison is boring, hope it ends quickly :) -- Ivel00:57 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Avamar (Realm)/The Mother of All Battles - A historic battle you can add to the page.  It is the fall of Avamar to the Northern Alliance (Sirion, Fontan, Old Rancagua).  At the time, it believe it was the largest battle ever fought, though now it only ranks about the third.  --Athins 07:57, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Sirion History

Hi Corwyn, outstanding work with the Sirion History. I'll try to give my contribution to it, it was something I really wanted to do and never found the time to.

Just a curiosity, where have you found the details? (seems you are not so new if you know all those things :P) Hm something comes from my family page I guess. -- Ivel 12:26, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Feel free to get on IRC sometime. I and others would be glad to help you with your history. Personally, I've read and compiled a huge part of BM history and have a lot more that needs added is sitting on my computer. --Ethan Lee Vita (Talk), Editor and Community Manager 20:17, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Taxes

For a full explanation, which wouldn't have fit in that paragraph, it works as follows:

Banker can set a wealth and a property tax. Basically, they work the same, except one (I think it's the wealth tax) needs to be at least twice as high as the other. You've got two options for both: amount after which wealth is taxed, and % of it that will be taxed. It is important to keep in mind that both gold and bonds are calculated differently, as well as the different taxes, and that (if I remember correctly) only excess gold will be taxed. Therefore, if the property tax limit is 100, you will not pay any taxes if you have 100 gold and 100 bonds, but you will if you have 200 gold and 0 bonds (or vice versa). There is no restriction for the amount from which taxes begin (other than one category must be twice as high as the first), but the taxation rate must be between 0% and 25%. Not sure where that would fit in the manual, though, but these are all banker toys. ;) -Chénier 16:13, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned Redirects

In general there should be no orphaned pages. If a page doesn't have something linking to it, then it gets lost easily. Redirects, however, are a slightly different story. I can see the benefit of having redirects for common or alternate terms, or in some cases, shortcuts to make it easier to type or link. (I use DD as a shortcut for the Dwilight Daily].) The orphaned redirects I delete are almost always created my moving pages. If you create an orphaned redirect on purpose, put a short note on the talk page about it, saying it was created on purpose for ease of searching, etc. --Indirik (talk), Editor (talk) 12:17, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Sirion Battles

Hi you are doing a great work updating battles in your family page. If you want, feel free to add the biggest or more interesting under the Sirion battles page, Sirion (Realm)/Battles. --Ivel21:02 28 October 2009 (UTC)
