The region of Upasael was a former region of Highland Empire. Aethius Kain was appointed Baron after a few others.On 2006-08-28 Aethius Kain was elected Prime Minister of Lasanar so he had to set down as baron. Halcyon Jazuma, a former knight of Sasat, was later appointed.
With the fall of Lasanar, Upasael became part of Ohnar and then Ohnar West. The region wfollowed the city of Akanos when Duke Hamilton Vita realigned the duchy to Arcachon, and then seceded from Arcahon to for the Akadian League. Ohnar West quickly recaptured the region.
