Evangeline paced the battlements of the castle. The war was coming, she could feel it on the breeze. The sun was beginning to rise and she hadn't slept all night. She lent against a column and her eyes began to flutter and slowly close. She was dreaming. She was in another place, in another time. She was on her hands and knees on the floor scrubbing at blue play-doh. "M-u-u-m-m-m....", a child cries. "Joe's pooed his pants again!!" As she stands up she sees a young girl pointing at a smaller boy. From another room she can hear a baby begin to cry. She awakes with a start. She looks around with new eyes. Phew, what a nightmare! |
Evangeline (older sister to Jobe and Danzi) decided to join the Perdan Army at the age of 20 and has never regretted the decision. She has served fervently and relentlessly. She knows she has a lot to learn about the realm, but she dreams one day of becoming an infiltrator for Perdan, and later (4 years time) she would love to command the army of Perdan.
