Monster weaknesses?

I think you should be looking for more than just the monster's weakness... ask the adventurers what they can do, though. ~~Anon

The monsters are our main concern as they are growing at uncontrolled rates with the assistance of some traitorous men who would rather have the beasts reign kings than men. The other factions have known weaknesses/can be dealt with in due time. As for what adventurers can do, I doubt all of them can do whatever it is they can, so asking a random adventurer what they can do is likely to prove unfruitful. ~~Editor

If you cared for humanity perhaps you would share your knowledge, lest finding it out ourselves give the monsters the time they require to overwhelm the continent and sunder civilization for good. ~~Editor

You have heard of these mysterious scrolls that have appeared, of that I have no doubt. They are perhaps a viable way to be used in conjunction with tactics to defeat them. I disagree that the monsters are the main concern, but they are a large one. One such secret in battle to defeating them would be to (when against overwhelming numbers and behind fortifications) use archers in the first battle and have a ready supply of infantry for the Duke to recruit to defend the walls when they split their forces and call upon smaller bands of monsters to overwhelm. Again, this is perhaps a variation you have already considered. ~~Anon
