Thats so true, I cant stand italics all over the place. Its sloppy, makes the eyes bleed and just looks really childish...also, you CAN make another charature speak, as long as its nothing "that" important or out of line. Its done often and normally done well by those I see do it.

Use of italics

Quote: "With this one everything that is spoken is put in speech marks everything that is an event or a description is put in Italics."

There's nothing more annoying than reading a large messages that's 70% italics. IMHO this is bad advice and, thankfully, it is not really that common. I've only seen 1 or 2 people use it. You don't need italics if you construct the message the right way and the message you send out turns into a much more pleasant reading. - LilWolf 18:47, 15 October 2006 (CEST)
