The Reformed Fellish Code of Nobility (Effective)

DEFINITION: The Code of Nobility acts as the Social Contract binding every Fellish Citizen; violation of its articles equals to revocation of citizenship and all benefits related to it.

Article 1. Swordfell is a Republic.
Article 2. Feudal oaths and loyalty to liege are the Centrifuge of Nobility.
Article 3. Community, martial valor, longevity and duty guide the next move.
Article 4. Nobility is about honor; Politics is about results.
Article 5. Everyone is legally and socially governed by the Constitution.
Article 6. No banishment is fair without public trial.
Article 7. Freedom of speech is the Supreme Value.
Article 8. Assuming responsibility for own actions is a social obligation.

Fellish Code of Nobility

Designed in 20 YD by the Fellish Assembly and ratified in 22 YD by the Fellish nobility, the Code of Nobility stands as the first pillar of the realm. All nobles of Swordfell are expected to swear on this Code. It binds all nobles of the realm together into one cohesive and collaborative society. It defines the identity of Fellish and characterizes the Republic of Swordfell. It may never be altered or dissolved and acts as the preserved, fortified vision of the founding nobles.

The Code of Nobility

• Swordfell is a Republic.
  
• Loyalty to Swordfell is the centrifuge of Nobility.
  
• The core values of the Realm of Swordfell are community, martial valour, longevity and duty (responsibility).
  
• Fellish Nobility is measured by deeds, not words.
  
• Swordfell is governed legally and socially by a Constitution. Articles of the Constitution are added by Absolute Majority and repealed by 2/3 Majority. No item in the Constitution may contradict the Code.
  
• No Noble of Swordfell may be punished by Law without fair trial by a Judge. This Code applies to Fellish within the Law of Swordfell and in the Laws of foreign courts.
  
• Every Noble is allowed to speak their mind freely without punishment, and must apply as much respect and courtesy as possible.
  
• All Nobles with responsibility to the Realm are expected to notify the superior of their station and their subordinate body. We must be communicative and transparent at all times.
