Swordfell/Code of Nobility
Prologue
- This document presents Code, not Law.
- Disrespecting Fellsih Code of Nobility is not direct violation of Laws but respecting/disrespecting Code of Nobility can affect view on you in eyes of other nobility so it can drag serious consequences for the offender (Knights can be kicked from estates, Lords can be asked to step down, Elected Members of the Realm Council can be asked to step down, etc.).
- Code of Nobility can not be modified.
Fellish Code of Nobility
Nobility is higher form of existence measured in valor of person's word. It is core of feudal society. To noble his word is sacred and fulfilling his oaths is his life.
As noble I swear to:
- Respect and protect feudal structure.
- Always be aware of my title as well as titles of those I am interacting with.
- Show humility toward higher titles (honorably pull back in arguints, on elections, etc.).
- Always speak the truth.
- Hold to my word and to oaths I pledged.
- Respect, protect, obey and never betray my lige.
- Be respectful toward nobility, especially toward those of higher title (natives, foreign or even enemies at the time of war (unless there is hatered between nations)).
