The Stoneward family have a very short history when compared with some of the ruling families and houses of Battlemaster. It started with Kenneth, an accomplished merchant, who ploughed his trade in Flowrestown on the continent of Dwilight. Kenneth married Julia and over eight years they had four children, Iain, Andrew, Clara and Markus. Kenneth has tried to instil his mindset into his children and send them on their way, after all he has a small fortune in which to try to help them in life.

The Stoneward Family have a small estate in Flowrestown which consists of a large town house with a rooftop, two large warehouses, three dozen carts and a small army of employees who move the stock around the city and across the realm. Kenneth, Julia and Clara still reside in Flowrestown while Andrew has travelled to South Divide to take up his own estate there. Kenneth has sent Markus to the continent of Atamara to extend the influence of the family. The current whereabouts of Iain are unknown.
