General Sinweaver Family History

Hailing from Eldoret on the East Continent, the Sinweaver Family gained its wealth from the lucrative mining industry in the area. For many generations Sinweaver family members have worked the mines, allowing the family to eventually become a major competitor in the Ubentian iron market. Now, thanks to the hard work of past generations, all male Sinweaver family members are sent to the Academy in Castle Ubent in the hopes that it may one day lead them to a successful military career.

History

First born male of the main house of the Sinweaver Family, Lothar was the favorite from an early age and deemed most likely to have the best chance of a successful military career on the East Continent. After serving as a faithful troopleader in Ubent for a year, Lothar was appointed to lordship of Eldoret, his hometown. He still serves Ubent in that capacity to this day, as well as serving as a mentor for future generations of nobles and troopleaders.

Bellonngian Sinweaver

History

Younger brother of Lothar, Bellonngian left Ubent in order to gain a military career in a realm out of his brother's shadow. He chose to join Perdan, a geographically nearby realm and (then) ally to Ubent. He served in Perdan throughout two years of near constant war, political turmoil, and internal strife, all the time staying loyal to the ideals of the Perdanese people. Today he serves Perdan as Count of Lorient.

Bellonngian is unique in Perdan in that he is the only troopleader that commands Special Forces soldiers into battle. His unit, the ANBU, is part of Perdan's Crimson Wing (PCW), the largest battle group in Perdan's military. The word ANBU means "dark side" but is actually an acronym for "Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai", or Assassination Tactics Special Force. The ANBU is an incredibly elite and bloodthirsty group of the most skilled, viscious, and unscrupulous warriors in all of Perdan. Men who would "slit their mothers' throats if paid to do it" as Bellonngian himself once described them. In short, men skilled in only one thing: killing. Their extreme lust for battle has gotten them into trouble on several occasions, as they were once involved in an incident where they attacked Ubentian soldiers on Ubentian land due to a severe miscommunication by Gary, Bellonngian's usually trustworthy personal scribe.

Suzy Sinweaver

History

When Suzy first expressed a desire to attend the Academy and pursue a military career, her Father would not hear of it. Although seeing women in the military was more common than it once was, Suzy's Father told her that he would play no part in paying for a formal education for her. Deciding that she was destined to do more than live and die in Eldoret like the other women of her family, she made up her mind to leave home on her own. Before she left she wrote a letter to her Mother and Father, explaining why she was leaving, and late one night she slipped out of the mansion unnoticed. She made her way to the nearest port, Ar Mosul, walking part of the way, and hitching a ride from a traveling tradesman the remainder. From there she boarded a small vessel bound for the grand city of Ibladesh.

Once she arrived at the port in Ibladesh, she had a wide variety of options open to her. Still standing on the dock of the small ship from which she had just disembarked, she gazed at the grand city that streched before her, buildings sparkling white in the light of the midday sun. She realized that making a career for herself in Ibladesh, then enemy of Ubent, would probably not be a wise course of action. Turning her back to the city of Ibladesh, she looked back at the hundreds of ships docked in the port. She decided that her fate did not lie anywhere on the East Continent, but elsewhere in the world. But where should she go? Ships sailed into Ibladesh from every known continent, making her decision extremely difficult. She walked through the port, looking at every ship, hoping that she would somehow know which one would lead to her future when she saw it.

She stopped at the last ship docked at the edge of the port. The ship was about to set sail, so she asked a nearby sailor where the ship was headed.

"To Atamara" he answered, "York, to be exact."
"York?"
"Yarr, York, a port city of Minas Ithil."

Minas Ithil, she thought, I like the way that sounds.

Arriving in York, the 17 year old Suzy started her military career with no formal education. After aiding Minas Ithil in their campaign to the west, she declared herself a Hero in order to seek greater honor than even her brothers.
