On a platform in the middle of the audience of the Lighthouse Heights dueling arena stands a memorial statue of Grandmaster Hexic Jeckyl, killed in the Spring of 9 YD. Former Duke of Qubel Lighthouse and hero.

Qubel Lighthouse is a naval stronghold which sits on the Qubel Channel, the strategic waterway which forms as a crossing lane for ferries between the Islands and the Sallowcape and larger vessels passing from the Sallowcape Drift to the Shattered Shores. The Lighthouse has a marketplace, making it a popular spot with traders, lords, and stewards from the surrounding regions, who mix freely with sailors, soldiers and mercenaries from all over D'Hara. The port bustles busily, yet the austerity of the fortifications and seawalls lends the place a very spartan feel.
