The south eastern part of the Jedinchel Plateau is known as Qual. Prior to the Daimon War it was part of Old Fronen, but with the destruction of that realm Qual fell into anarchy for some time. During most of the Fourth Age the area was ruled by Melhed, but control was lost during early 2010 when rebels proclaimed their allegiance to Thalmarkin. Qual's new overlords were unable or unwilling to takeover administration though and the lands descended into chaos. With that Qual disappeared from sight until May, when tales began to emerge of a mysterious darkness brewing there...
