The city of Ozrat has taken on a more subdued atmosphere since the fall of the once-great Republic of Lasanar, of which Ozrat was the famed capitol.
The city itself did not suffer a tremendous amount of damage in the subsequent wars, but the prestige the city lost when it became an appendage to the Kingdom of Ethelia rather than the heart of a Republic was far more difficult to repair than the city walls.
Where there once stood a city square with statues of Lasanar's past Prime Ministers - over a half-dozen carefully-chiseled marble monuments, they were destroyed when Ozrat was taken by the Realm of Ethelia. Once every midsummer "The Great Hunt" Begins. Initiated by Ozrat's Duke Fallin McBlathery during the days when Ozrat had become the third and Largest City in the Realm of Ohnar West. Celebrations last for five days, on each day a new beast is designated for the hunt. Each day afterwards more and more dangerous animals are prescribed. It is a competition in sport of friendship and mutual Danger.
