A region of Virovene, it surrounds Nifelheim. It was to be th step of the expansion of Springdale but was taken by Virovene in the Sicassion War. It is townsland full of small towns and villages and makes large amounts of gold from trade with Muspel.
It contained two taverns that were taken over before the rest of the region by Sringdale, the Laughing Wanderer Meadhall and The Boar's Head Tavern. They were both closed by Virovene due to their contiued loyalty to the Empire.
