The war between the Obsidian Islanders and Nivemus has come to an end with the signing of the treaty of Kazan. The obsidian islanders have agreed to hand over the region of Gadlock to Nivemus along with a number of guaranties relating to third party use of lands. Nivemus is clearly determined that in future realms such as Perdan won't be using OI as a base of operations to attack them as they have done in the past. In the treaty third party realms are not allowed to march through allied territory to attack other realms. Territorially this is a small gain for Nivemus but one they will be proud of in any case.

This tournament is to celebrate the Signing of the Kazan Accord which has brought to an end the war between Nivemus and the Obsidian Islands. Furthermore the Obsidian Islands would like to dedicate this tournament to the lives of the brave warriors of both Nivemus and the Obsidian Islands that gave everything on the battlefield serving their realm.

Epoch Shadowbane, Emperor of Obsidian Islands, Royal of Obsidian Islands, Duke of Kalmar, Earl of Kalmar has announced a tournament of Joust and Swordfight to be held in Kalmar 9 days from now.

There will be a charge of 10 gold for every participant. The winner will be rewarded with 1200 gold in addition to the honour and prestige that his victory will earn him. There will also be a reward of 600 gold for the second best.

With the loss of Westmoor's capitol city due to Sirion and allied forces assaulting the city, the newspaper was forced to close along with the destruction of the realm of Westmoor. New Westmoor successfully covered a large period of Westmoor's history through thick and thin and will be sorely missed. Let the wars continue on!

All in all the map looks similar to the one we showed last month with the exception that Krimml is back in Sirion hands. We are busy here in Westmoor preparing our defenses for the next attacks from the enemy. Westmoor managed to regain the rogued region of Troyes. Perdan and Sirion are away at refit and may not be back onto the battlefield for some time giving us some time to rest and repair.
