We are busy here in Westmoor preparing our defenses for the next attacks from the enemy. Westmoor managed to regain the rogued region of Troyes. Perdan and Sirion are away at refit and may not be back onto the battlefield for some time giving us some time to rest and repair.

The so called [[The_Red_Dragons|Red Dragons]] were shown with shame today as three of their number without warning decided to enter [[Bruck]]  and

engage Westmoorian troops in battle. Dallian [[Alumaani Family|Alumaani]] Morgan [[Hossenfeffer Family|Hossenfeffer]]and John [[Christensen Family|Christensen]] all during the day entered bruck and slaughtered a great number of the Westmoorian troops there without due reason in a dishonorable conflict that had no place or cause on Westmoorian Soil. Is this how Sirion's elite army treats other realms they are not at war with? Several Westmoorian nobles were wounded including the Westmoorian Collumn's marshal Ravier [[Nebehn Family|Nebehn]].

The Sirion General appologised for the attack including Dallian [[Alumaani Family|Alumaani]] who was involved in the incident however according to the victims in Bruck some of the Sirion nobles were actualy taunting Westmoor for having lost the battle. Morgan Hossenfeffer was quoted as saying <i>"Always a pleasure to greet Westmoor this way!"</i>. How can troops taunt the defeated in a battle which they themselves showed no honour?

With the loss of Westmoor's capitol city due to Sirion and allied forces assaulting the city, the newspaper was forced to close along with the destruction of the realm of Westmoor. New Westmoor successfully covered a large period of Westmoor's history through thick and thin and will be sorely missed. Let the wars continue on!
