This was however an unfortunate thing to happen while relations with Sirion and Westmoor were improving. The Westmoorian collumn showed incredible dedication by having every single one of its units in the correct formation by the time the battle started. Similarly to the battle of [[Ashforth]] the collumn opened with archer fire but this time lacking General Arica who is still recovering from her wounding. However even though our archers were much smaller in number Fontan had no archers of its own to return fire. Some confusion broke out in Fontan's ranks and noble Erwin [[Gall family|Gall]] broke rank along with a number of peasants and performed a brave by suicidal charge at our front.
