Mariana le Craint, sister of Emyhr, was raised in the shadow of her brother. Being constantly compared to him led her to resent him. This led to many confrontations between the two, eventually leading to the expulsion of Mariana and the beginning of her journeys on the seas. For a while, she lived as a mercerenary with a small crew, mostly taking small protection jobs. After many years, she decided that she would wished to find a place she would call home. This was during her brief time working along the seas of Beluaterra, she visited the realm of Obia'Syela and took a liking to the convictions and faith of the realm.
She started her career as a knight, fighting along the front lines against the hordes of monsters that plagued the lands. After the events of the portal event and the arrival of the Daimon's, she took up the mantle of subterfuge to assist those who fight along the front lines by providing additional funding. For a time, this proved very successful for her. Providing a steady stream of funds for the army and working with the Grand Inquisitor in matters such as these.
