Caligus Is A Beacon of Lies to the World
Recently, in addition to their past lies, they've tried to twist the truth further by endorsing King Doombringer's war declaration.

Letter from doombringer Menethil (10 hours, 32 minutes ago)
Greetings everyone,
Recently as all of you already know Itorunt has made continuous aggression towards Caligus and have been directly insulting both Caligus and Ibladesh from their local newspaper and then from the words of Regina Morgana herself. Itorunt has falsely accused Caligus of various "crimes" and also showed disrespect to our ambassador Zoe and assaulted her in friendly territory, thereafter pushing the blame upon us. Itorunt has acted with hostility towards Caligus and repeatedly insulted Caligus, an action we have tried to tolerate for some time now. Such examples are "liar, corrupt and dishonorable".
However, it is with regret that even though we have tried to stop the aggression through peaceful measures, it has not succeeded. As such, Caligus will curb Itorunt's aggression by force with immediate effect.
Signed,
doombringer Menethil
King of Caligus

The paper is and has never been a tool of Itorunt's government; what the paper prints is independent of foreign policy. The Itorunt Informer has a high policy of journalistic integrity in never working for a realm's foreign policy agenda.

The crimes are far from false. Revising history to serve their dishonorable back-stabbing ways only proves Caligus' lack of honor.

1. We already have closed borders and diplomats should not be excepted to this.
2. A history of betrayal towards the soverign realms of the East Continent, including Itorunt, proving their innate dishonor.
3. Feeding Itorunt's enemies in times of war and allowing them to prosper when they would otherwise starve.
4. Welcoming insane Tuchanon IV nobility into their realm and letting them retain the duchy after much work by Itorunt and Perdan to destroy their realm(this when Itorunt and Perdan had a history of good relations with Caligus and is evidence of more betrayal).

On the first matter, do they deny our status of closed borders? Do they honestly expect us to allow such dishonorable nobility, diplomat or not, past our borders? On the second matter, do they deny their backstabbing of the Confederacy of Fontan when they betrayed their war effort for a ceasefire with Fontan after they conquered Fontanese regions greedily and was ready to leave their allies' war? Do they deny turning on Sirion? Do they deny blaming Perdan for their problems when it was likely a local anarchist or an accident that resulted in one of their lords' wound? On the third matter, do they deny the fact they are allied to a realm with a food deficiency that isn't starving or that Caligus has a huge surplus of food? On the fourth matter, do they deny the fact that they took possession of Isadril after Perdan, who by all accounts saved Caligus from destruction in the Great War, had ravaged the lands surrounding it?

They attempt so malign the truth by claiming Zoe was in a friendly region and was attacked. They ignore the fact that their ambassador was in a contested region, was meeting with the ruler of our enemy to betray us, and ordered her cavalry against our Regina's troops. This occurred while the two rulers were supposed to meet to discuss the reduction of looting tactics in a war grown out of control by Ibladesh's cruel actions of religious barbarism and tyranny.

Caligus' peaceful attempts at ending must allude to the fact that they feed our enemy who would otherwise starve. Their peaceful solution must have been behind-the-scenes removal of Itorunt from East Continent. It sounds rather non-peaceful, though perhaps indirect. It only proves that Caligus' first actions are cowardice instead of declaring a war they were already waging.

Itorunt City More Productive Than Isadril As Fontan and Itorunt Celebrate Serious Wounding of a Killer!
In a recent report from the Caligan Courier that was then attempted to be hidden, it has been confirmed that Itorunt City produces far more gold than Isadril. More evidence of Caligan incompetence. In addition to this, Cartor Curs was seriously wounded in the attack upon Xavax. This is both a grand day for Fontan and myself as Fontan once lost a noble to Cartor Curs' cruel blade. This noble was a good friend, with albeit different political inclinations, of mine.
