Kayne II started out as a mercenary, like his father. He quickly grew frustrated with the formalities and the gentleman's rules of war and all of that. He was ruthless, and was disliked by his own. He decided to be an infiltrator and was quickly banned from several realms after trying to murder their nobility. He grew frustrated with his own government and left Atamara for the colonies. He joined the theocracy known as Alebad and dueled their Pontifex, championing the Chaos Requiem. He had been gifted Arkenine from Kenshin, and used the unholy blade. He bested his foe, and for traveling through the wrong region, despite being quicker and causing no harm, he was subjected to a bogus fine. He petitioned for funds to pay for it, gathered a good sum of gold and left the colonies for Beluterra, the holy lands of the Chaos Requiem. He joined Varyma Nolvo during the second infestation. He became Arch Priest and was Baron of Ippetimbal. However, the realm fell prey to the undead, and Kayne II left, attacking a city with his large unit which he was going to use to take over a city with his accomplice Ghostly and found a realm devoted to the Chaos Requiem. The undead joined in on the attack, and for some time Kayne II ravished the countryside, leading the undead masses. He proclaimed himself King of the Undead, and then joined Enweil so as to gather funds for his mission. He took in a single pupil in this time, his name was Alden Clarke. It was there he descended below the surface of Beluterra, becoming crowned a Daimonic Prince (so he says) and hunting down those who would hamper the progress of the Three.

He was possessed of an unquenchable wanderlust, and during his long career served across the world, in a variety of realms. He made his name as the Executioner of the Netherworld, known for his over the top brutality and gruesome public executions.

Years later, Kayne II resurfaced, forgotten and unable to prove his nobility. He wandered the countryside seeking undead and monsters to prey on, taking their gold and searching for items of power. Then the Daimons invaded, and he did his best to side with them, but unbeknown to Kayne II, there had been a power schism in the underworld, and the Three were not as powerful as they once had been, and Kayne had been forgotten by most of the powerful Daimons. They captured him and sent him to the East Continent, where he was able to contact his family, and was reinstated into the family.  Kayne II joined Darka again, hungering for battle, and needing gold. He grew bored there and left to join the Akadian League, where he served as Lord Protector, administering harsh justice and striking fear into the hearts of his enemies. He grew bored, and left for Beluterra, ever in search of more slaughter to sate his awful craving for bloodshed. He found Old Grehk, but grew bored, and wandered until finding Melhed, where he rose through the ranks quickly, claiming the region of Criim. Melhed was pacifist, and Kayne longed for the freedom to slaughter as he pleased, and left, searching out the Daimons he had served his entire life... And succeeded, finding a welcoming home that would allow him to fulfill his vile needs.
