The Heenite Army, now split into three separate Duchal armies, had made its way back to aid Sint in their war against Ashborn. Late in the evening on the 6th May, Queen Martana announced Dald to be the next destination of the army. Setting off late in the night, the troop leaders of Heen marched their units from Daisha towards Dald. Joan had arrived too soon, but had successfully managed to hurt a couple of Sintian/Old Grekhian nobles lurking in her path. The rest of the army, including Martana arrived much later...only to realise that the troops of Ashborn had been ordered to leave their walls and march to assault Dald. With the Heenites commanding the battlefield, and Celia, the Marshall of the Heenite Hawks taking command of the battle, the result was nothing of a surprise. With the 186 cavalry charging from the back of the field, the nobles of Ashborn could be seen fleeing even before the camels had reached the front line - i guess they do smell a little!
