New Duke of Tahgalez

January 2

Earlier this day, Mao Tse Tung has stepped down from his Dukeship in Tahgalez. King Scion the Skilled was there to appoint Royal Treasurer Medium as the new Duke of Tahgalez, accompanied by the following message:

"For his excellent service, dedication, and going beyond the call of any noble, I have now annointed Sir Medium as the Duke of Tahgalez. He has done a fine job in managing our food stuffs and taxes, not to mention the roughly 1000 gold his family has donated, making them the second highest donator of gold to our cause (my own family having donated the most).

For these acts of his loyaty and service, I have made the only exception thus far to the "One noble, One position" rule that I liketo abide by.

And to Lord Mao, I would like to thank you for keeping your word. I promise you that you will get what I promised you. Just as I promised Medium. It just may take a little time. But if you remain, and you stick with your loyalties, I am a man of my word, and you will have what you wish."
