This is a work in process on the Far East, and I am honestly trying to make it as neutral as possible whilst getting as much colourful information in as I humanly can. If anyone would like to contribute in the discussion, especially if it has anything to do with the '''southern realms''' - past and present - of the continent, such as Zonasa, Soliferum, Nighthelm, Grand Lodge of Lunaria, etc. and Lasanar, then please do. I am trying to use the current wiki and IG info that people would be using or at least somewhat, vaguely, unlikely to be familiar with. Also, if anyone has anything they want to see added, give me a yell and I'll consider. If you're wondering about my ''credentials'' and claim to unbiasness, *snort*, I am a student with a very heavy grounding in history, english, and geography (both natural and human). --[[User:Haerthorne|Aerywyn]] 16:05, 10 November 2008 (CET)

Symbol of the Osai; monks who spread knowledge across the land centuries ago.
The wind upon the plains of Lantzas is fierce this time of year, and when the summer rains cease to drown out the sounds of the road
and the air stirs, the common traveller may hear the whirlwind of galoping horses and the faint clash of steel in the distance, as
the Aenilic beings battle in the invisible world. Here they fight their mock wars, melees intended to honour the conflicts of men
that have ravaged the northlands unceasingly…
~~ Ciertal Tha’lian, twenty-second chronicler of Arcaea.

Although few of the fighting nobility write, for the people who are at the center of politics and war are seldom able to do their fellow realms justice in accounting for their histories, I have begun this work in order that the lands of the Far East may be understood. Many times have individual Kingdoms commissioned tales to be written regarding periods of their history, yet the works are only glimpses into the continent and often neglect the character of the island and the wider picture of the period. Herein is a collaboration of the various tales and facts of my home and the lands surrounding, constructing a picture of the peoples of this island; their cultures, their wars, their achievements, and not just a book retelling the myths of the victors and the defeated.
