The Decimus Family Blade

The often spoken of, but rarely seen Decimus Family Blade - a truly flawless blade of extreme size and proportion is said to be in the possession of Basilius. The blade has the insignia of the Decimus family, as well as the seal of the realm for which the holder resides in. Rumours remain as to why Basilius has the blade and why it would not be with either his older brother Phobos, or with his twin brother Axim. Some have said that Basilius was the chosen one of this line of Decimus, whereas others have simply said that although Phobos is older he lacks the qualities to lead a house, and that although Axim is a brilliant swordsman, the cavalier could probably not handle a blade of that size.

Traits of Basilius: Strength, Leadership, Humility

Basilius is arguably the strongest member of the Decimus_Family. From a young age the hero would always accept challenges with unfair odds, always emerging victorious. Tales and songs have been written of the hero Basilius and his victories. Unlike others, Basilius refuses to order his men into battle and watch from the sidelines. He eats with his men, camps with them, and when the time for battle approaches, he is on the frontlines with them.

Apart from his physical abilities, Basilius is renown for his loyalty to his allies once staying behind in enemy territory with only 3 men to protect fallen allies from the onslaught of enemy forces. Not only did Basilius and his men survive the battle and beat off the attacking forces, the managed to hold the area until both the allies had recovered and reinforcements had arrived.

Basilius is the Count of Morshes, in the Democracy of Fontan in the Eastern Continent, where he also serves as the General of its Armed Forces. His elite unit, the Thunder Guard is well known and feared across the continent for its unbelievable strength, cohesion, advanced level of training and its high mobility.

It is also rumoured that Basilius forms part of the leadership of an elite military tactical force of Fontan, having sworn to protect the realm and its people from all threats regardless of risk or origin, even sacrificing his very life if required.
