The gem was found in one of the monster exermination travels of Cellius . He thought that it might be the key to the original monster infestation of the region.
Purchased by Sir Ayrl Huntsmaster, Viscount of Maraba, in hopes using the gem to ward off the periodic monster attacks suffered by Maraba.
