Establishment

Pian en Luries was founded on the assimilation of native tribes, under the banner of the first king, Kaennji Shenron. The Arundel family, who had previously been significant figures in the tribes, were granted, by the wise king, their estate in the peaceful townsland of Poryatu. Initially, the family proved to be a pointless investment, as the head of house, William, his brothers and his wife, Sophia, accomplished no glory or honor - they would inconspicuously make their appearance in court and leave as silently as they came. Fame and reputation ultimately fell to William and his brothers' children, who carried the Arundel house to its true and rightful standard.

William had three brothers; Clavicus, Henry, and Sebastian. Clavicus was considered William's opposite: a dedicated man both resistant to temptation and loyal to his wife. Though their differences stemmed much further, both were usually on friendly terms, and as such, William had his brother appointed steward of the house; trusted with managing the entire family's wealth and assets. The third youngest, Henry, was more of an impulsive man, acting on anger and outrage more than anything else. His place in Manor Arundel is a small one, as few can trust him or his personality. The youngest, Sebastian, was raised under the watch of his older brothers, taking in a plethora of traits from each of them to form somewhat of an unstable, yet peculiar man. His antics are well known throughout the manor, as he's unafraid to speak his own mind. His true beliefs, however, are usually kept secret, for they are considered far from the norm.

Record of Births

Three children were born the same year: Caspius, Viktoria, and Jesoph. William, unfortunately, had an uncontrollable lust for servants and maids, which consequently brought him illegitimate children. Viktoria and Jesoph, being the result of William's foolish actions, were quickly disowned by him in secrecy; sent to lands far beyond Poryatu. Caspius, would be the first among three born from the womb of Sophia Arundel.

A year later, Sophia gave birth to sororal twins, Katerina and Celine. Katerina was blessed with silk golden hair, smooth bronzed skin, and bright chestnut eyes. Contrastingly, Celine was born in the shadow of Katerina, with curly rough brunette hair, pale snow skin, and gray lifeless eyes. When Katerina's traits became prominent, Sophia greatly admired them, and declared Katerina a gift from the gods; granting her eternal favor and nurture. With Sophia's praise of Katerina, Celine was left, figuratively, without a mother - shunned and forgotten.

Clavicus married a Pianese woman by the name of Jemma, a peaceful and tempered woman. She gave birth to a daughter, Alice, who grew up in her mother's footsteps; becoming a tranquil maiden who brokered peace above all else. Henry betrothed a young woman from Astrum, Karithya, who was both frail and reserved. Though their marriage was quite the dysfunctional one, Karithya gave birth to four children: Henry II, Joseph, Sofia and Leana. Sebastian was the only male member of his generation not to marry, as he found it impossible to love any woman that met his eye. He did, however, create two children - Lucy and Horus - the first being the only legitimatized child.

Record of Deaths

Queen Katerina (Suicide)

Katerina was loyal and devoted to her realm, from childhood to death. As she solidified her presence within Pian en Luries, she quickly rose the ranks: from vice-marshal, marshal, Countess, Magistrate, to Queen and wife to be. In a tragic turn of events, her soon to be husband, King Koli Bedwyr, was poisoned, and her realm thrown into civil war. Plagued by depression and hopelessness, she committed suicide. More about Katerina can be read here

Viktoria (Killed)

Viktoria was the daughter of an elven maid, who made a short stop in Pian en Luries for work, ( she could not afford a trip back to the East Continent.) William, the salacious, couldn't resist the charms of any elf, and frequently bedded his new maid until Viktoria had came to light; disowning her immediately. Viktoria's mother luckily had made enough silver, by the time, to pay for her final voyage, though favors were still required. She brought Viktoria with her to Sirion, where she raised the young half-elf to become a strong and valiant adventurer, in hopes that the child would return needed silvers to the family. The child was virtually human in essence, besides the slight sharpness of her ears, and the elegance of her eyes - though its said these characteristics made her one the most beautiful women in the land.

Soon, she began to make a name for herself, leaving the lands of Sirion for greater rewards - arriving in Caligus, on the border region of Abadan and Moyale. Consequently, her ambition came hand in hand with her demise, and upon facing a great undead champion in Moyale, she was slain by a clean strike through her abdomen. Rumor has that her body was spared by the champion, deemed to delicate and beautiful, even to the heartless undead.

Consequently, her mother was left without income, and soon the elven family dipped back into poverty.

Jesoph (Accident)

Jesoph was son to a scribe's daughter, who'd been caught by William's eye. Quickly disowned by both his mother and father, Jesoph made a trek to the lands of Corsanctum, where he begged and lived in the gutters. Becoming of adult age, he made another voyage to Astrum, hoping to have promising glory in the face of the creatures that plagued Dwilight. Tragically, his boat crashed on the rocks surrounding the Astrum Isles, and perished in the incident.
