What was the name? Ah, LionHeart. Poor bugger. I suppose they didn't like him abandoning their lands for Arcaea. Rather petty of them, though. The man was a trained and experienced hunter. You'd think they'd have found a better response than death. Shame.

Public Execution (3 hours, 31 minutes ago) The commoner LionHeart of Arcaea was executed in Topenah earlier today.

Edara read the report, put her head down on the desk, and cried. She had tried…gods how she had tried. She had even written nice, supplicating letters to that bastard Keffer. Keffer! She hated Keffer; but, she had controlled her desire to vomit at writing nicely to him and…begged. Gods…she had offered to pay.

And for what? Her poor LionHeart…killed, her lovely jacket…stolen. She had humiliated herself before the man that had tortured her Jenred…for nothing.

Edara rose and wiped her face, still shaking with anger…sorrow…shame. There would never be peace between her house and his, nor that of Ethiala’s thieving Judge…what was her name…Aaria. Never. She called for Fin…Edara wanted to make an offering for LionHeart’s death…she didn’t have anything of his to burn, but they could make a little pyre, anyway.

She didn’t care if he was a commoner; he was her commoner.
