The Abington Account

The Abington Account is the latest news and events as they pertain to the Realm of Abington, as related to the government via it's available informers and reporters. The Ruler of Abington does not necessarily endorse the views expressed in the Account, and the government claims no responsibility for any factual errors herein; which are obviously the result of limited information available to the common folk and noblemen of the great Southern Realm.

During the First Reign of Queen Armitage III

2003-06-21 Armitage III Elected as ruler in Abington with the promise to save Abington from destructions

June to August Abington fight to regain all its lost regions back from Antioch. Abington was down to Suville, Welham, Narville, and Washford. Its was predicted to fall within two week.

Antioch was caught by the Gods of practicing the dark art of Cloning, and their King was removed from this world. With very little gold and no food, the 12 heroes of Abington fought Antioch, one region at a time until they regain all that belong to the old Abington.

August, Queen Armitage III offer to buy Rustton from Antioch for 750 gold. Antioch agree to the deal. Two week later with Antioch fearing that ASI was fearing invasion of Riverholm from Wynford, King Whiteknight accepts Queen Armitage III offer to buy Riverholm for 750 gold. The gold was giving to the realm of Redspan, and Antioch was dissolve.

December 2003 or January 2004 During this time rumors of King Silverstone of ASI was preparing to attack Redspan, Abington only Allies. Two week later when the information was being proven correct. Queen Armitage III orders General Lochivan to invades the island states of ASI.

First objective was to take Yacon, where walls was quickly made. Second objective was to place a large amount of archer on the walls, then fall back to Veshin and take it from ASI.

Again walls was quickly built, given Abington security from any attacking ASI army.

Wor-ight was undefended and quickly over ran. Ash-rily was place under a 2 month seize until it fell to Abington.

ASI surrenders giving the island states to Abington. The first time Abington own all the island states except for Lerss.

With ASI / Abington war over, Abington turn its attention to defend Redspan for the first time. The start of the CE/Abington conflict that lasted until the final death of Republic of Abington in 2007


May 19 2004 Armitage III Stepped down from rulership.
