Cooper Family/Lucas

Lucas is the youngest son of Jack and Brigid. Being the youngest son, but not the youngest child, Lucas was oft overlooked in the social circle of his parents. He would receive nothing from his father's estate beyond that which he could carry upon his back. From the start, it was destined that Lucas would need to find his own way in life. This was only emphasized when his two sisters were born. Lucas had planned to stay at home until it was apparent that it was time to leave. Sadly, when Jackson and Matthew both left to start their own careers, Lucas was out of time. Leaving his father bed ridden, he walked out of the house and headed for his new life.

Leaving Home

Lucas left his father's estate before turning eighteen. He was the last of his brothers to set out in search of adventure, and he didn't look far. He stayed in Perdan, following in his brother Jackson's footsteps. However, Lucas left Montauban, sending this letter ahead with his scribe Isaac to Duke ][osferatu:

Duke ][osferatu, I have left my father's house to make a name for myself. I had hoped to wait at home for a bit longer, but events would not seem to have allowed that. My brother Jackson has set in motion many things in my family, and things have become unpleasant at home. I ask for but a portion of the income of your city, and a place to hang my cloak.
