The twin brother of Parcival and the son of Elgorn, Tristan is first and foremost dedicated to his family and his way of life which includes chivalric ideals. The bond with the code of the cavalier and the noble earthly conduct is rooted deep into him, which is why he would rather die than break his ideals. He has a very close bond with Edmund since Tristan helped Edmund during their youthful journeys and knighted him into the family.
Tristan is a tall man with the hair as golden as the sun and the eyes as blue as the ocean. Like his twin brother he rides a magnificent black cormorant, and, covered with armor when wielding the large joust in one hand and the tower shield in the other, Tristan is an inspiration to both his subjects and his peers. Battle is a matter that Tristan doesn't take very lightly. By seeking the glory of the battlefield only through a fair and just methods he is trying to bring the good voice for his own name and the name of his family. As such, looting the commoners is something that he heavily despises and usually frowns upon those who claim differently, often seeking to pursue the misunderstanding by dueling. Tristan is in charge of the Gryphonirrim, the elitist riders of his father, who follow him wherever he roams.
After a short service in Osaliel, Soliferum, Tristan heard stories of the chivalrous realm in Beluaterra which bedazzled his imagination and made him leave Osaliel. After a long voyage Tristan's eyes finally saw Riombara, the land of the highborn and the just. He docked the city of Grehk with enthusiasm and entered into the service of Riombara as a knight of Carmelo Riina, the Duke of Irombro. Shortly after that Tristan was elected by his peers as a rightful Lord of Cjelegy, after which he was proclaimed her Viscount.
Crest and Signature
Tristan's crest represents a simple gryphon in a circle, with colors that resemble those of the old group of cavaliers that once roamed the vast Dwili lands. The Calanon Riders, who can be traced only in legends of the old, in translation literally means the Riders of the Light. These legends have probably inspired Tristan's vivid spirit and his zest for life which is why his shield is also carved of similar smybols.
His dedication for the soil he serves and for his oath of fealty are great, which is why he signs his letter by simple yet ferociously sincere words For Lord and Land.
