Retravic was re-elected in the month of March, but after being seriously wounded by an assassin, Widfara Exiled was elected Prime Minister of the Republic of Fwuvoghor. After dissolving the alliance with Enweil and making moves towards peace with Riombara and Fronen, he suffered repeated protests and ultimately open rebellion, led by Retravic Stafanovic (Slayer), which set up a monarchy in the place of the failing republic. The Republic of Fwuvoghor then became The People's Republic of Fwuvoghor.

With the coming of the Undead to the island, Retravic established both the Military Council and Invasion Control Council. Eventually, after long debates and many fights, it was decided that it would be best to ally with the Undead.

After a prolonged absence, Queen Retravic was replaced by Ben, the former Duke of Fwuvoghor, who confided his dukeship to Felmoure. In his reign not much happened and when things began to deteriorate near the end of his reign he stepped down.

Felmoure, now Duke of Fwuvoghor, was made in turn the new King. With his reign came change, and the first thing he did was reinstate the House of Ministers, which, initially, was made up of four elected (who, coincidentally, were also extremely influential) members of the realm. With it, decisions were then being passed through the house. While delaying decision-making, it also made it more republican. However, two monarchists, the former queen Retravic and her devout supporter, Arch Priest Jean-Olivier, held a considerable power in it, and tensions quickly began to rise as they were fervently opposed to the reforms and diplomatic changes brought forth King Felmoure and hi minion Mordred. With these tensions came dysfunction, as Felmoure halted the Arch Priest's access to foreign information, and in turn, the Arch Priest maintained foreign relations of his own, creating a diplomatic schism within the realm. At the end of October (2007), the events came to their climax, as the High Marshal Retravic refused to send the army to follow Felmoure's suicidal plan. At the same time, the Arch Priest and Earl of Vilriil Jean-Olivier was having a heated debate with Felmoure about the realm's relations with the daimon-controlled Sint, as Jean-Olivier had been constantly defying them to prove their weakness and pretence for a considerable amount of time by then. It all erupted when Felmoure not-so-subtly cast doubt upon Jean-Olivier, accusing him of betraying the realms ideals of respect and tolerance, and ruining relations with realms. Jean-Olivier was quick to react, and this led to him being accused of imposture by the failing king in a last attempt to save himself. Jean-Olivier surprised the cowardly Felmoure, who was attempting to hide and flee, to prove his nobility and grab power in order to save the kingdom from decadent republican reforms. After a few blows, Jean-Olivier slayed Felmoure, a man never as proficient as he with the sword, and proclaimed himself King. Ties were renewed with the undead, who sent their very last men, gold, and weapons to the Kingdom in an attempt to liberate the capital from the daimons and monsters the angry republicans had summoned. After being abandoned by neighbouring realms, a daimic commander came and imposed himself onto the Kingdom, and Jean-Olivier started a campaign against Avalon and led several incursions into Zod and Wilwau.

Jean-Olivier's rule was short-lived, however, and on his return from a failed attempt to take over Zod, he was wounded by monsters in Wilwau. He later died as the republicans bribed healers to slip poison into his medication. Ben's was re-elected king. During King Ben's reign, the Fwuvoghorian army took over Wilwau and finally signed a cease-fire with Avalon. This period lasted for a while, and the Kingdom descended into cultural decay under the weak King. The republican forces of Mordred and Belzer hoarded gold, through non-participation in the military and embezzlement. When the monarchist movement was starting to regain strength, they used their wealth to rebel and destroy the monarchy, imposing their own personal oligarchy with the many adventurers they had personally knighted into service. While the monarchists had allowed them to remain in their homes and hold titles, the oligarchists did not have this honour, and the monarchists were quickly expelled. The most influential, Nicolas Chénier, cousin of deceased king Jean-Olivier Chénier, moved to Enweil and swore to cast down these usurpers.

Years later, he fulfilled his promise, and Fwuvoghor was re-integrated into Enweil, a realm where he ruler over for some time himself.
