Hanzoku is the older of the two Windsong Brothers, and since he was first in line to inherit, he remained behind in the Cagilan Empire to manage the family estate in Trassing, under Earl Bluthammer. He led the family's unit, the Wind Guard, until their destruction in the Battle of Nazgorn. Most of the unit was cut down there, and the remainder wounded, including Hanzoku. Their valiant stand and refusal to break has catapulted his prestige past his younger brother, and he is considered only slightly less honorable, despite only having served in one battle on the losing side.
Hanzoku currently languishes in a Falasanian prison.
