Saints Segomo and Cocidius (Saints of the Downhearted, instilling the virtues of Diligence and Patience)

No prognostocese.

Segomo and Cocidius were the sons of The Great Father whose mother was a noble warrior of Minas Ithil long ago named Ayeleah. Her husband had been a great warrior as well, but he was slain in the wars of the first age, after his death she found herself pregnant with the twin boys. They grew to manhood, always in the shadow of others because they had no father. Still they were noble and trained hard to be able to uphold the honor of Minas Ithil. Many times, they were downhearted because it seemed that no matter how hard they tried or how well they fought in battle, they would never overcome their birth. They believed at a time that they would never be able to advance in the beloved realm of their birth, so they both travelled the known world looking for a way to be able to uphold the honor of Minas Ithil, each learning all they could in every foreign realm they went to. They finally were able to return to Minas Ithil and Sergomo and Cocidius became great marshals of the armies. By their diligence, they overcame all of the hardships of their parentage, transcended their existence of flesh, and became Saints of the Way of the Warrior Saints. They had become the Patron Saints of the downhearted.

Notable Scripture

Saint Cocidius : "The rashness of youth is inevitable, for they haven't had enough time pass in their lives to witness the profits that patience can bring."
