Things don't look good for the Goats today as the recent battles in Atblane and Stargard have gone against Redspan and their ally, Abington. Reports coming in indicate that poor coordination and discipline led to the near total destruction of the Abington Army. Reports on the Army of Redspan remain vague but they couldn't be any better. Reports are being obtained of incredible numbers of wounded and captured nobles, even the death of an Abington Hero. This latest loss has renewed speculation on how long Redspan could exist as a realm. Despite the assistance of Atamara's greatest military force, Redspan appears to be collapsing against the weight of the 4 Realms invading her.

The first defeat occured about two days ago when the combined Armies of Abington and Redspan marched from Stargard into Atblane, a region recently taken by Carelia. Forgetting to equip themselves with siege engines, the partners futilely assaulted the palisade behind which an even larger Allied Army was defending. It would appear that in thier haste to move out, many nobles did not receive the mobilization order and stayed behind in Stargard. This would prove to be decisive as the massive enemies arrayed against them decimated their ranks. Following the fleeing survivors into Stargard, the second battle a day later finished the job. For all intents and purposes, the Redspan and Abington Armies have ceased to exist.

...It Pours. Yep, things are certainly getting wet down south as Abington suffers another disaster on top of all the rest. In addition to losing a major city and several regions to a rebellion, Abington will now suffer the great honor of being raided by Darka and the Cagilan Empire.

Marching in secret with our trademark discipline, the Darkan Army is on the verge of storming the Abington City of Wayburg. Victory is virtually ensured as the city's pathetic defenders quail at the sight of our forces. No doubt they remember the glory of Darka months ago when we looted several of their cities. Indeed, few realms are as fortunate as Abington in witnessing a firsthand demonstration in advanced siegeing techniques.
