Prime Minister Handow:

Fellow rulers,

I find it interesting that Fontan tells us who to side with and I claimed we would remain neutral as long as Fontan stayed out of our regions. This is even after Fontan wanted us to honour their border treaty with Perdan but Fontan wouldn't honour our treaty with OR. Fontan didn't like the fact that OR said they didn't agree to give regions toward the creation of New Coimbra (Bruck and Poitiers).

How did our friends treat us because of their dispute with OR, they declared war on us just so they could declare war on OR. Fontan slapped us in the face and showed they want it both ways. They want others to honour and respect their treaties/agreements but they will not do the same for even their friends. How can they be trusted by any realm again when they treat their friends so cheap. Even after war was declared Sirion wanted to see Fontan's true intentions. Fontan attacked Bruck which was one of the regions that was claimed by them to go to New Coimbra. It looked like Fontan was after just the two regions that were to go to New Coimbra but that didn't last long. Once the peasants of Bruck stopped the friendly takeover by Fontan, Fontan showed all that it wasn't about New Coimbra. Fontan moved toward Kazakh city and stopped attacking the peasants. Fontan also made their biggest mistake yet by moving some units to attack Oligarch city. Sirion remained neutral no longer. Sirion and OR have a true friendship and we would not sit by any longer while Fontan killed their peasants or Fontan thought they could use our regions after they were warned not to.

Now Fontan begins to complain that they are being attacked by several realms when it has been only two realms so far that they have really fought against. Those two realms were not the agressors but it was FONTAN that declared war on Sirion and then OR. It was FONTAN that attacked OR first, then went on a killing spree of peasants in Kazakh city, and attacked Oligarch city when they were told to stay out of Sirion regions. After all of this OR and Sirion had enough of Fontans actions and we acted. So any other realms complaining that it is not a fair war tough! Fontan brought it all onto themselves and if OI and LoF have reasons for going to war with them then Fontan should have reconsidered their declarations of war against former friends and allies. I don't blame LoF for getting involved because after they saw that Fontan will attack federation member and allies why would they fell safe with their treaty with Fontan.

Lady Luna:

Prime Minister Handow! Your words are war propaganda and nothing more! The only unit that moved into Oligarch city was our Banker, Pepé's, unintentionally!

You may choose to fight us, Sirion, but do not pretend that your war is for the cause of right, or the cause of justice. You fight this war for the same reason you fight every other war: you dont know how to stand on your own! You only know how to stand behind someone else!

Prime Minister Handow:

You declared war on us so don't preach to me of war propaganda. How stupid are you to think that we would just do nothing after you backstabbed us? You probably thought we would just say it is alright to throw our friendship away and all you have to do is say you're sorry and we would take you back with open arms. You can't be trusted anymore. How can anyone believe you will never do this again just because you say from this moment on we will honour our allies when you declared war on both your neighbors that you were allied with or federated with? No matter how you sweeten your words it was Fontan who declared war on Sirion and OR. We both have the right to defend ourselves and take actions toward you for your declarations of war against us.Letter from Luna

Lady Luna: (work in progress)

I have no need to preach to you of war propaganda, Prime Minister Handow. I'm telling you here and now that where Sirion has hidden behind her allies, Fontan has stood beside hers. Where Sirion has made excuses for war, Fontan has sought to uphold her debts. Where Sirion has cowered time and time again within her borders, Fontan has fought tooth and nail on its own lands.

This is not only about the here and now, Prime Minister Handow. This is about the cowardice and weakness that Sirion has shown in the past. The ineptitude and laziness of your armies, the lack of action or willingness to change in your government, the stagnation The ineptitude and laziness of your armies, and the lack of action or willingness to change in your government. We are going to war for New Coimbra, for honor, and for justice. While you need excuses, we need none. We do not fear war or the outcome. We stand for our people, we defend our people, and we know how to fight.

After Old Rancagua has surrended, after you have no one left to hide behind, we will now come directly for you, and if you cannot stand on your own, we will erase you.
