Vesci Family/An Election

Isis nervously approached the podium for the election. Her heart was racing as she looked to her adviser for assistance and mouthed what do I say? The adviser shuffled toward her and informed her “Make is short and snappy so they will vote for you.”

Clearing her throat Isis stepped forwards and shouted proudly “Vote for me!”

Pulling her back the adviser whispered “No you can’t just say that. You need to use reverse psychology”

“Oh okay,” she replied to the man and then shouted “Don’t vote for me!”

“No you want them to vote.” Whispered her adviser.

“Aah got it” she replied, “Vote for somebody else!” she shouted out with as much enthusiasm as the first time.

The crowd stood completely bewildered as to what was going on.
