Commoners and Mercenaries of the Adventurer's Guild,

A detachment from the Golden Lions of Perdan have cleared hordes of monsters and undead from the region surrounding Pelasgia in Perdan Mines, but there are still problems brewing in the region.

The first horde of monsters was neither fae nor fera, but something entirely unseen in this region before. Chittering abberations, akin to spiders but lacking eyes and the fuzz normally seen, the largest among them was the size of a healthy steer, but most were the size of regular hounds. Their carapace was a dull ochre, and capable of turning poorly delivered blows from sword and arrow. It is suspected they came from the depths of the Perdanian Spine, likely from some formerly sealed mineshaft on the Western slopes.

The undead were abominations, stitched together by some necromancer in a ruined village to the North West of Pelasgia. They were of unusual strength, but quickly dispatched. Their creator could not be found, but if they were to be brought to justice, any texts or equipment held by them will be purchased by myself.

Should you proceed to Perdan Mines through Bescanon, be warned that Eponlli and Perdanese forces are in conflict and will not look kindly upon rogues and spies. Make your intentions known to the guards at Bescan Bridge upon entering the territory.
