The Path of the Eye is primary a Infiltrator dominated path. The various schools within the path focus on teaching aspiring infiltrators in a “safe” environment. While all the schools have a common base in teaching the fundamental skills (maybe we have a training temple for teaching the fundamental, followed by selecting an advance temple to train at?), they all differ in how they apply those skills and the methods they favour. In general each school is represented by a temple, though a particularly common or popular school may have many temples. Rarely a single temple may teach more then one school of the path.

(NOTE: At this stage it is assumed that a single temple will teach members from all three paths, so effectively there will be 3 schools in each temple, each teaching a path. Some path schools may mesh well together and so often will be taught at the same temple. Temples may elect to not teach a certain path, or rarely may teach multiple schools of a single path)

(NOTE 2: It has been suggested that some schools may overlap paths. A good example of this it this Order of the Golden Shield, which fits both infiltrator and Warrior paths. When these schools are taught it can be assumed that the one school covers both paths at that temple.)

Ranks

Lord Eye Elder of the Church. Commands the Eyes

Agent of the Eye,Piercing Eye,Keen Eye

Apprentice Eye A trainee rank. An apprentice Eye has proven their faith, having served already as an Egg, but must now prove their combat abilities. Schools

Order of the Silent Dagger

An infiltrators work is dangerous. Every time they venture out to perform their trade they risk their lives. Recognising this, the Order of the Silent Dagger trains their initiates in the arts of precision strikes, ensuring the greatest possible damage and turmoil.

Order of the Golden Shield

The Order of the Golden Shield is open to both members of the Path of the Eye, and Members of the Path of the Talon. Those of the Eye tend to be skilled Assassins, however the target of their blades are not foreign officials, nor can their blades be bought for gold. The Shielders are a defensive force, and while those of the Talon naturally take positions as body guards, the members of the Eye are charged with defending against the activities of enemy infiltrators.

Order of the Unseen Hand

An offshoot of the Order of the Silent Dagger the Unseen Hand also practises a doctrine of extracting the maximum effect from any action, however they have chosen to specialise further, becoming spies without equal. While useful in information gathering, their true power comes from their abilities to manipulate the politics of the realms they operate in. Many a war has been started by their subtle manipulations, or the power of a rising noble checked by their influence.

The Order is peculiar in that their work often does not require the application of more traditional infiltrator skills. Their greatest power lies in the relationships and influence they wield. However more then once they have had to rely on the discrete application of a dagger.

Order of the Raging Tempest

The antitheses of the Order of the Silent Dagger, the Order of the Raging Tempest promote indiscriminate destruction on a wide scale. Uncaring and unselective a practitioner leaves a path of ruin behind them, as they attack any target of opportunity. While the art of assassination is not unknown to them, they tend to favour destruction of regional infrastructure, the burning of food supplies and the murder of local military forces.
