Doc smashes his face at the strong walls of Avamar		East Continent is on Fire (at least for some)!
People of Avamar are jubilant once again, celebrating another great victory against the so-called “noble Elves” of Sirion. The barbaric hordes, under Doc’s personal attendance (as usual), have attacked this morning the City of Avamar in a desperate and paranoid attempt to break the city defenses. Military analysts characterize Sirion’s tactical move, as a “suicide attack” and they are really confused concerning the motives and the strategic value of the attack. Furthermore, the usefulness of numerous Sirion Siege Engines to the attack is still questionable, as the machines didn’t even reach the walls of Avamar. Sirion has suffered tremendous casualties, while the defenders lost the minimal. The official reports from Avamar Army Headquarters, gives the following numbers: Nearly 9000 CS of a total of 9500 CS of the attackers was lost within few turns. - Three Sirion TLs were captured (amongst them an arch-traitor) and three more were wounded. - The defenders have lost less than 1000CS and only one TL was lightly wounded! The remnants of Sirion’s Army is currently retreating, whiles the victorious units, supported by the local population, are conducting hunting assaults through the region. Meanwhile, rumors are saying about a conflict between the finest nobles of Avamar, concerning the way the captured arch-traitor will be executed!		As Doc has utterly lost his reliability as a leader, concerning both inter-political aspects and foreign affairs, former Sirion allies have found themselves at a very difficult position. The fact is that this unpleasant situation of Doc’s Allies is the outcome of his personal empathy, his own petty fads and his obsession to involve to the internal affairs of former West Sirion. According to political analysts, those ally nations, dragged by Doc’s fads, must reconsider their relationship with him; otherwise there is a considerable risk for even worse situations in the near future. It is impressive, that during the last one and a half month, Doc has proven to the whole continent that Sirion under his commands has become a pariah, not able to help its “allies” (former W.Sirion and Coimbra), isolated from international treaties and developments, while even within Sirion there’s increased unrest and opposition as indicated by the results of the last elections. Furthermore, because of Doc’s activities, the North Alliance has been collapsed, while the United States of Sirion is no more! Maybe the time for his retirement has finally come!

Prestige Boosts!

During the last 7 weeks, a prestige boost is apparent between the Troop Leaders of Avamar, thanks to Doc continual attacks! For example, Tristain and Yimelos the Second, with only a short history in the realm (33 and 44 days respectively) have reached 13 points of prestige! It is worth mentioned that this amazing rate of prestige increase for new TLs, is perhaps the highest in the whole world!

Cultural Events in Avamar

While the successful block-buster “The Great Dictator”, a theatrical play on Doc’s personality and recent history, is still on stage, the sequel is under preparation! Shortly after the last battle in Avamar, the new play titled ”The Great Doctator” was announced. Tickets for the premiere are already sold out, while people from all around East Island have pre-booked tickets for the whole month! It seems that Avamar, has suddenly become, not only a military and trading centre of major importance, but also the heart of cultural events in East Continent.

Memorial of a Great Man

The memorial Lord Draco of the Draconian family, took place today in the “Heroes of the People” cemetery, where the Great Hero and General of Avamar rests in peace. The council, nobles, warriors and thousands of people were gathered there to honour this great man, who gave his life to protect the City from the barbaric invaders of Sirion, just few weeks ago. His son, Draco II attended the ceremony silently but it was obvious that Draco II has been prepared to follow his father example and honour his name with acts and deeds of similar bravery and nobility.

Haunted Avamar?

Recent reports from locals at the regional police station of Avamar, speaks about strange appearances of “ghosts”! According to witnesses, “spectral, eerie figures” of members of the old corrupted and tyrannical council of former W.Sirion, are roaming the streets of the city!
