Roleplay from Philip
Thank you everyone for showing your support in my abilities. In celebration of this momentous occasion I will be hosting a feast in my new Duke residence. The festivities will start a couple hours after sunset but all are encouraged to arrive early so as to acquire the best seats and mingle with your friends.

Roleplay from Philip
Oh I almost forgot; Prime Minister Naira and Lord Tzoutzoukos; your seats are already laid out. As fitting your station the seat left of me awaits you Naira, as the seat left of her awaits Tzoutzoukos.

Walking up Philip bows, “Princess Julia; would you do me the honour of joining me at the head table this evening?”

Roleplay from Philip
"Now that we are all gathered here, I declare the festivities officially open."

As the feasting and celebrations begin Philip turns to Julia, “Princess I wish to speak with you about something,” clearing his throat Philip seemed at a loss for words, “You see…..” But before Philip could say any more a great clamor rises up from his guests demanding a speech; calling for quiet as he rises from his chair, Philip clears his throat.

“Nobles, Knight, Lords, and friends; today we gather to celebrate not only my beginning but the end of the era of the great Duke Tzoutzoukos. Long have you served Tzoutzoukos, and served well; for though we’ve been sorely pressed you have never shirked from your duty. Three cheers for Tzoutzoukos!”

While waiting for the cheers to die down Philip surveyed the room and was pleased, truly this was the greatest realm in all the land. Puzzled for a moment Philip turned as if looking for something; reluctantly turning back he shook his head and continued his speech.

“So now I stand at the threshold of a new beginning; but not just I, we all stand hoping for a bright future to pierce the gloom. Well I have seen that future; I dream of a great empire, I see the traditions, values, and Virtues of Avamar spread across the world; I see peace, and I see victory; and as Duke I will do all in my power to make this dream true, you have my word!”

“That said there will be hardships, there will be enemies, but you; proud children of the revolution, valiant knights of the people, and champions of Avamar; you are worth more than any number of them. Skills, valour and honour still count for something in war and our enemy’s will learn this as we send them to feast with their ancestors.”

“For us; For Avamar!”

Ending his speech Philip bowed his head to the crowd and returned to his seat.

Roleplay from Tomaas
A hush falls over the banquet with muttered inquiries spreading through the hall as people begin to notice the man standing silhouetted between the open doors. He walks forward through the near silence to stand in the center of the room.

"Good people of Avamar I must apologize for my inturuption this day, but I have an unpleasant task before me which I must complete. Philip; on behalf of the innocent people and families you have wronged, I have come to bring you to justice."

Jovily Philip raised his cup, "Tomaas, Tomaas Darby, I remember you. Well sir what brings a Fontanite here, what justice to you serve?"

Ignoring the interruption, Tomaas continues, "You have committed a list of crimes as long as my arm, from theft and vandalism, to arson and murder, to genocide and stealing candy from babies."

"You are mistaken, sir, I have done none of these things, but since I'm in such a good mood you may leave and we can talk later," replied Philip as he gestured for the band to start playing again.”

"I assumed you would deny it Philip, or should I say Philippe. That is why I have proof. My witnesses, Avamarians all, are safely hidden throughout the city."

Philip froze mid gesture, "You are mistaken sir, I'm not this Philippe you seek"

"Then how do you explain the lack of a Philip in the Unti family? I am a good friend of the Unti family, and there is no one in that family named Philip."

Philip laughed, "Are you serious sir? Where did you hear such an obvious fabrication? Oh wait I know, you and Lutia have both been taken in by that 'sister' of mine."

"I doubt it is us who have been taken in. Are you not the owner of the large warehouse on the south end of the docks, Continental Exporters?"

His tone becoming dangerous Philip responded, "Yes, yes it is mine..... why?"

"Several of the aforementioned crimes lead directly to that warehouse and since they say a picture is worth a thousand words, why don't we show everyone what's in the hidden back room?"

Philip remained motionless for a few moments then slowly stood up, "You dare call my honour into question in my house and on this day no less? We will step outside Tomaas, now."

"I'm glad to see you cooperate; we shall go to the warehouse, but let us bring everyone with us so they may know the truth. Besides, people left alone with you have the tendency to go missing, don’t they?"

Philip leaned forward with his hands on the table, "I am not amused Tomaas, and my patience has run out. Guards!"

There was a lengthy silence before Tomaas spoke up, "I'm afraid they can't help you; they're taking a nice long nap. So shall we continue our trip to the warehouse then? I must warn you all however, the sight is rather gruesome and bloody."

Philip shook his head as if trying to clear it, "You... nrrrr...." Philip's head hurt; the insolent Fontanite continued to sing of destruction and blood, while at the same time the whispers joined him in chorus. He needed to silence the fool, he needed to... to.....

Tomaas sensing weakness broke through, "Fix your mask Philippe, it's slipping.."

Everyone in the room could almost hear the sound of glass shattering.

Philip's head shot up as he stretched to his full height with the sound of screeching metal armour; no longer were there whispers, no, now they sang in perfect harmony. With a voice from a nightmare Philip said, "Insolent maggot, do not tell me what to do. I have slaughtered men for less and will eviscerate you for your impudence!"

....."too late," Tomaas sighed with a smile.
