Mending Kit (when Willem first sees Ilya)
Willem had slipped out of his tent after a short nap. The battle, then the training, had left him tired. He checked on his wounded men. They had returned to health, their wounds were not deep. For that he was thankful. He looked down the row of tents and saw a lady, in uniform, talking to Sir, what was his name again? Many of the knights look so young and there are many that he hadn't had a chance to meet. This one didn't have red hair and the lady didn't look like a milkmaid. Something was familiar about her uniform. The cut of it appeared to be Menedoran. Could that be Ilya? They've tried to meet for dinner or a drink over the last few days. Or was that weeks? Sometimes it is hard to keep track. He called for his scribe to find a camp boy to find out who the lady was. Willem slipped back into his tent to make sure that his uniform was clean as it could be. While straightening it he realized that he hadn't had it mended in quite some time. Well, it was mostly clean, and the blood was a badge of honor. He wasn't planning on going to any military promenades, so it didn't matter to him if it was mended or not. But, if that was Ilya... He searched his pack for the mending kit that his mother had packed many moons ago.
