The Quintus Ennius family/Aeneas Private preaching 1

Sir Vvaros, knight of Escetuah asked Aeneas who Sartan is. In his first letter Aeneas replied as following:

Bluntly said Sartan is the god of warfare. I could spend days elaborating what exactly is warfare and therefore what exactly is his field of divinity, however I shall spare you this for now. Sartan exist alongside 3 other divine forms who have received less attention within the Church of Sartan, yet are still recognized and worshiped.

As you are aware, there are always rumors and stories told among the people and therefore different stories exists concerning the origin of Sartan. The main view of the Church on this continent is that Sartan was once a moral like ourselves, however due to his selfless nature and his purity in mind and soul he was welcomed to the Pantheon by Ramsus. The code of conduct within the Church is extremely important and must be followed at all costs. It is believed that this code was written by Sartan himself. Another story of origin is one who originated from the Church of Ibladesh which worshiped all four gods in complete equality. From the book of origin I quote: "It was red and the divine body of Sartan manifested. Thanks to his divine will the carnivores are predating the herbivores. The concept of war but also the ideals of honour and duty were born."

One of the most important aspects within the Church is not so much fighting in itself, but the obtaining of purity in min and soul. Of honour and strength in all what mankind does. As men we are born with flaws. If you look around you, be it here or even in Beluaterra you will find flaws in the actions of men. Greed, lust and search of power for oneself can cloud your judgement and destroy not only your own life, but that of many others. At the same time anger and hatred are one of the worst flaws known to us all. In my youth I have known much anger, but in due time I learned to ban the mere thought out of my existence. It is a process which will take many years of pure meditation and prayers, but it is possible. Apart from these there are too many to specify, yet I believe you understand what I mean.

He answered Aeneas with questions concerning Sartan's worship and the Church of Ibladesh. Aeneas continued to elaborate the existence of the gods and their being:

You are correct my friend to ask these questions. It is good of you to do soo and to answer some of your questions. It is indeed the arbitrary of men which has placed Sartan "above" the other gods on this continent. You see my friend, the Church of Sartan found its origin within the faith of the Church of Ibladesh. In Ibladesh, at least before it was destroyed, all gods were worshiped, however for some reason only Sartan's word reached this continent. This does not mean however that Sartan is more important in the total than the other gods. Each god has balance and purity on their own level, yet only together they form a unity of pure divinity and balance.

With the arrival of former Ibladeshians, like myself, in the Church of Sartan the existence of the other gods is made more known to all followers. A special "sect" is created within the church for those who follow all four gods. It is my hope to explain our faith to all. It is my hope that a turning point is here and now for this faith. Hopefully one day all the gods will be honoured. It is common to have a devotee god on which you focus you main prayers, however it is key to understand all gods and respect and pray to all of them. To focus more on warfare next to this and therefore Sartan can only be applauded, yet only if it is done so.

I quote from the book of origin once more when I tell you of the four gods. While there are different stories of Sartan's origin, I will stick to this one for now. I will later tell you how I believe the story of his mortality has come into existence. However this is a very delicate subject and it is something I must still discuss fully with my fellow elders.

II - Ramsus The first and ultimate colour was gold and our supreme leader Ramsus manifested. He was the one who created all living beings. Every plant, animal and all of mankind are children of Ramsus. He is supreme and at his will everything lives or dies.

III - Sartan Out of the concept of diversity the second colour emerged. It was red and the divine body of Sartan manifested. Thanks to his divine will the carnivores are predating the herbivores. The concept of war but also the ideals of honour and duty were born.

IV - Kokini Very near to Sartan another strong colour emerged. It was black and the mighty Kokini appeared. Being both swift and intelligent she brought stealth and mischief to humanity.

V - Tersea The fourth divine colour was green and in that colour the beautiful body of Tersea manifested. All charming and with great intellect she manifested the concept of trading and the begining of economics.
