Brothers in faith,

It is good to see so many faithful combined. However little is ever spoken, at least in public, about the gods. About what our faith means and the divinity of our gods. We all know of Sartan's might, of his code. We speak of him to live in the Pantheon, but do you then know what the Pantheon is?

The Pantheon, does not house one god my brothers and sisters. Four gods live in what we call the Pantheon. We are not aware what the Pantheon truly is, a house up in the sky, or simply a synonym for the spiritual place where the gods exist. But this does not matter much. What does matter is that you understand the whole and not only a tiny peace of the puzzle.

Some of us are only aware of our patron god, Sartan and in time the divinity of the other gods slowly fades away in the words of our speech. I wish to teach you about faith my friends, so that you may fully understand our faith and our lives.

From the book of Origins, of which I managed to sneak a copy with me from the Temples of Ibladesh, the gods are described as following:

II - Ramsus

He was the one who created all living beings. Every plant, animal and all of mankind are children of Ramsus. He is supreme and at his will everything lives or dies.

III - Sartan

Thanks to his divine will the carnivores are predating the herbivores. The concept of war but also the ideals of honour and duty were born.

IV - Kokini

Being both swift and intelligent she brought stealth and mischief to humanity.

V - Tersea

All charming and with great intellect she manifested the concept of trading and the begining of economics.

Of these four gods every faithful, may and shall choose a patron god to which he dedicates most of his prayers. In the Church of Sartan this has always been Sartan, god of war. Since I was a little boy, I too have chosen Sartan as my patron god and he has guided me through many years of hardship. However, choosing a patron god does not mean you should neglect your prayers to the other gods.

Every god holds perfect balance and purity in it's being, but only together do the gods hold the perfect harmony and purity of the world and beyond.

Signed,

Aeneas Quintus Ennius of Arcaea, Priest of The Church of Sartan Cardinal of The Church of Sartan, Baron of Itomazh
