Cheveyo

The third, but rarely mentioned brother. Shortly after he was born he contracted a rare and highly fatal disease. He was not expected to live past the age of 5, and so while he was young their mother told his brothers not to get too attached. By age 3 he was incredibly weak, and the disease seemed to have taken its toll on him. At age 4 his situation did not improve, but in the 5th year he got healthier and overcame the illness

Gander never accepted him, and Goergyboy was always studying. His childhood was spent doing chores around the house, and training his body. He became a large muscular man, although not very bright. He is easily outwitted, but has common sense and a small bit of tact but scheming is not his specialty. He first moved to the land of Fontan to gain money for his family, and saw many battles. Democracy and politics were not in his interest so he left that land for another. Although his oldest brother was distant they exchanged letters from time to time.

He now commands the army of the Highland Empire with his strength and makes rivals easily, especially when beaten in tournaments with the sword. Hot headed, rash, and a bit religious he claims to have greater plans in store. He wears the hide that was given to him by Child of Bodom who slayed the monster in Obtal. The hide is large, furry and white and drapes down his back. He seems to resemble a bear.

He is the follower of Lady Greory and is considered her God Childe.

Cheveyo the Hero/Wannabe

Bored with the trainers of swordsmanship who were no match for those he bested and was bested by at the tournament. Only nobles can put up a decent fight, not these decorated peasants who knew a few tricks. It's been so long since a war that all the veteran swordsmen who use to be the trainers we're pratically gone. Disgusted, arrogant, and rash he yelled out to those in Akanos.

"I am no doubt the best swordsman here, in this realm and soon will be the best in the world. With my strength as proof and my love for battle making me stronger I proclaim myself the hero of the Highlands. Anyone who disagrees can answer to my sword."

Cheveyo the General

The position of General came to Cheveyo after Gwaethinriel betrayed the Highland Empire and joined Lasanar. There were three contestants puruing the title of general. Sadi loved to hold games to decide who would get the positions of power and this time was no different. The contest was planning the destruction of Lasanar. Still enraged by the death of Jon he had plotted the destruction of Lasanar since that day. He won the contest and won the position, his first task being an assult on Ozrat.

It was difficult and caused some contreversy. The battle was won but heavy cassualties were taken, but the odds of victory were slim and this victor was celebrated for a short while. The takeover failed and Ozrat remained Lasanars.

Next came an assult on Lasanar's capitol. Leading the forces through the reigons of Ethiala through a path Sadi had established they made it to Lasanar's capitol and cause some trouble in the neighboring regions, but no major victories.

Time passed and eventually Lasanar and the Highlands came to a cease fire. Though Lasanar repeatedly attacks the region of Hosiel by 'accident' which Cheveyo has become greatly annoyed by but no action has been taken.

Anya was the marshal of the army, who whittled at Cheveyo's power endlessly. Cheveyo wanted to keep command and oppose Anya, but he was also interested in her decisions and what the outcome would be even though it caused a major failure once he felt it worth it. Anya went missing, and a new marshal has yet to be appointed, but he has decided not to give the next marshal the same chance he gave Anya.

Cheveyo and Others

Riamh Aice

The first on Cheveyo's list, and for good reason. Next to Sohei she is probably the most memorable person Cheveyo has ever met. At first it was a game of wits, which Cheveyo easily lost, but then developed into something more...

It started, as many things do in the Highlands, by another of Sadi's games. Cheveyo detested blood wine and found the drinking of it barbaric and inhuman. Sadi put forth the test of nobles to try and get Cheveyo to drink blood wine any way possible. To the victor went the position of region commander.

There were first two tests, first Hawkeye tried his hand at getting the general to drink the vile substance, which failed due to his direct and unimaginative approach. Then another noble wanted to speak with Cheveyo, but Cheveyo had withdrawn into his tent and would not leave. The noble left a message with the guards and left to try again later.

Riamh Aice was the third to come by and ask for Cheveyo's pressence. "She's already in control of a region, surely she is not here for the contest." Was his thought when he heard of her request to see him. Oh what a simple minded fool he was.

Riamh wanted to take Cheveyo to her logging in Hosiel, to this the bulking general agreed. It started out innocent enough, a long walk down a dirt road. Things were going as planned for Riamh, but that quickly changed. Cheveyo asked her about her past. She was obviously taken by surprise given her reaction, but she did tell her story the more he pressed the issue. When she finally stopped in her story where she wanted to she remarked "If you want to know more you'd have to get me drunk." This reminded Cheveyo of the flask of ale he keeps with him and he suddenly got thirsty and took a small swig. He offered it to Riamh out of natural instinct to offer his ale around to the soldiers. It may of seemed as a weak attempt at getting her drunk to hear more, but Cheveyo wasn't that clever. It wasn't until later he realized it may of come off that way.

When they finally reached the house Cheveyo entered first. After he walked through the door he was quickly jumped by a group of large men. They tied him up to a chair and left, while Riamh spoke with her captive.

After a bit of yelling about being set free and some more tales out of Riamh, she downed the viel of blood wine and smirked. She mearly wanted to prove she could of had him drink the stuff if she wanted to. Cheveyo chuckled at the wits the girl had, he didn't have many of his own, and he was set free. Riamh left and then Cheveyo left shortly afterward cursing her name making sure everyone could hear him. He spit on the ground and it had blood in it. Sadi was known for having his playthings spy on others, so to complete the farce before he left the house he pulled out his own tooth in the back of his mouth to draw blood. Being deep in his mouth it couldn't be noticed as missing, and the scheme worked Sadi was none the wiser nor was anyone else. It was their secret.

Later he figured a simple cut on his gums would of sufficed rather then lose a whole tooth in the matter but it didn't bother him too much.

Since then Riamh and Cheveyo have had a relationship as cat and mouse. Riamh seemed to love surprising Cheveyo and despite wanting to duel her, and just about anybody, he enjoyed her pressence.

Sohei Takiyama

These two have become very good friends. Cheveyo values Sohei's council above anyone elses, but it seems their relationship goes far beyond mere friends. It seems the two are, as Sohei refers to them, God Childe. The two are believers in the same religion but have different personal goddess. They believe that they have been blessed by their goddess and it is thier duty to spread their name around. There is supposedly a third 'God Childe' but no confirmation has been made yet.

Sohei's a kind hearted priest in the Highland Empire, and Cheveyo's not exactly blood thirsty. The two both value innocents and refrain from hurting them for sheer pleasure unlike Highland custom but they seem to have different definitions of innocent. Peasants of Apasur rose up and fought with the Highlanders, and Cheveyo participated in the battle, and had a bit of fun but the peasant army was too weak for much of a thrill. Sohei was angry at Cheveyo for participating in the battle, but Cheveyo stated that they attacked first and it was merely self defense.

Asides from that instance, the two have gotten along very nicely. They'd often stop and talk and if one of them was wounded in battle the other would be at their bed side to make sure they were ok.

Sohei was a native of Giblot, but once banned wandered the colonies learning the art of playwritting. After a short stay in the assassin's guild he left to the Highland Empire by choice. Cheveyo's voyage to the Highland Empire was not by choice as much as divine guidance. His ship captian died at the helm, and he swears to of seen Lady Greory in person who directed him to land.

Sohei rules over Pesol where he has established his goddess, Lady Lillith, as the patron goddess of the region. Chevyeo rules over Obtal where he has established his goddess, Lady Greory, as the patron goddess of the region. At first Obtal had no ties to religion, but out of competition with Sohei, he established his goddess in the region although not very well.

Glorawarthien

Whether or not Glorawarthien knows Cheveyo's existance is unknown, but Cheveyo lives for revenge. At his first tournament on the Far East he placed second. He was beaten by Glorawarthien, but she did not participate in the semi finals. Glorawarthien was a wild card and Cheveyo felt cheated that a wild card took his prize as the winner of the tournament. He walked away with some gold for his victory, but wants to repay the debt which may happen very soon.

Jon

Sadi's predecessor to the ruler of the Highlands, who called himself El Presidente. Jon was the hero of the Highlands, and earned Cheveyo's respect early on. In his own mind Cheveyo became very attached to Jon and saw him as a father figure. News of his death, killed by Lasanar, while he was away at the tournament infuriated him. He can never forgive Lasanar for what they've done.

Sadi

Sadi SaDiablo, not Cheveyo's best friend for sure. He is actually a bit disgusted with the acts Sadi commits on the people of the Highlands, despite having to endure the sight of it as his general. Cheveyo often wishes he had the strength Sohei had to openly oppose the dictator, but he has other plans that require him to stay close to Sadi. He's rarly in the same region as Sadi so that he doesn't have to whitness his treatment of the peasantry, but there's always stories following him around of what Sadi has done.

Sarig

Cheveyo has not had many encounters with Sarig, but had promised to kill Sarig when he attended the tournament while still ruler of lowly Lasanar. He plans to fullfill his promise now that he has encountered Sarig once again with the young Rosalind in toe.

Adrian

Leader of the second rebellion in the Highlands, Cheveyo has sworn to take his life for his insolence.
