Reverse of Fortunes
By Revan

03.09.06 - As you may know, Robert thought he'd messed up in the initial assaults in Steepglades and Rollsovar. It was a complex plan. Troops from in Steepglades and in Briarull would attack Rollsovar. However, that meant no troops were to be left in Steepglades. But err, that kinda didnt happen and we found our guts strewn all over the place...however the next day, we prevailed! Robert claims this was because the troops of Giblot came through but I think it was really because of the superior Marshal settings that I used. I just got promoted once again see. Anyway, the point is that now it's Tilogian guts strewn all over Rollsovar - not ours. Indeed, so badly have we beaten Outer Tilog after a long losing streak on our part, that it looks like negotiations are underway for Rollsovar. Which means Robert's already doing okayish as Chancellor. And it gives scheming Shaman Detinu a chance to get his old region back. What intriguing times we live in.

New General
By Revan

03.09.06 - After Robert's election as our new Chancellor, he felt it apt to give up his General position pretty quickly rather than hog all the power to himself. It's rumoured part of the decision was because he thought he'd led Giblot into disaster in Steepglades and Rollsovar but whatever the case, we now have a new Defence Minister. He's called Black Recluse. I'm the man who talked him out of cowardly surrendering his region, Steepglades, to Outer Tilog. Now look where he is! What an eye for talent I have eh? You do us proud this month Mr. Recluse!

New Chancellor
By Revan

01.09.06 - In a closely fought election, Robert der Trihs was elected as Chancellor of Giblot this morning after doing..well nothing except announce his candidacy after Alexander announced he would step down. It speaks volumes about this little democracy of ours eh? The people of Giblot battled each other silly for their democracy and yet they elect a man who says - "Well, I seem to have a lot of support so yes - please vote for me." Or maybe I'm just saying that because I'm resentful that I lost in the elections myself? A couple of Nobles could've made all the difference I tell you, but evidently it was not meant to be. There is at least, one good thing about this election though - that shines through all my grumblings - the Lukonite-friendly candidate, Frodo Reborn, did absolutely pathetically. Which makes me feel alot happier. The people of Giblot arent that stupid Frodo!

In other news, Giblot forces got trashed in both Rollsovar and Steepglades this morning by Outer Tilog troops. Were still having trouble getting used to that phenomenon. Dereliction of orders has been blamed for the defeats in both cases. Indeed the battle in Steepglades wasnt even supposed to have happened. Poor old Darkbyte.

Count of Helsera Killed!
By Revan

01.09.06 - Early this morning, Darkbyte, Count of Helsera was killed in battle in Steepglades - showing us that bad things really do come in threes. And by that I mean it's been a long time coming, but thats the third Hero we've had die in a valiant attack/defence of Steepglades in the last...forever! First I, Revan Osha popped my clogs in Giblots first assault on Steepglades, then it was the turn of Spencer Gary - brother of former Chancellor, Alexander - now Darkbyte Darkbyte is dead and gone. Of course our deaths are nowhere near as satisfying for the Tilogians as theirs are for us. We've yet to offer up our Chancellor or Supreme Judge for the slaughter. It makes us all feel so much better...
