Headline News: Black Hand Coup in Coimbraheim

Furious citizens of Fontan gathering on the streets and city squares October 1st to express their indignation immediately following the election of Paris as the new King of Coimbraheim. Paris, a trader originated from Avamar prior to his accession to Coimbraheim, grabbed the vacant seat after the Wrath of Titans stripped away the power of Bergelmir the Fearless. The intention of Paris is clear; the newly established realm is going to be dismantled for the interest of Southern Alliance. Numerous clues indicate this may be yet again another masterpiece from the underground organization commonly refered to as Black Hand.

UPDATE: According to a reliable source, an assassination attempt earlier today has put Paris into serious wounds and thus incapable of his incumbency. Without any potential leaders it is expected that the realm of Coimbraheim will soon descend into anarchy.

Divine Intervention Suspected: Coimbraheim Vanished Overnight

The realm of Coimbraheim disappeared off the face of the earth on 4th morning in what many believe to be the hand of God condemning the final end of this turbulent realm. Rumors soon spread out in Fontan that the abrupt disappearance of Coimbraheim was due to divine intervention, with God hearing the prayers of the inhabitants of East Island and showing its will by punishing those who ever dare to obey its wish and question its supremacy. While there are many other theories, we will never know what truly happened. Was it God? Or just pure luck? Either way the situation for Fontan's enemy Oligarch is looking increasingly worse with the regions Coimbraheim previously owned now all turned rogue, further weakening the struggling realm.

Monthly Elections: All Re-elected

The monthly elections held on October 1st reconfirmed that Chancellor zedd retained his position, defeating Mikhail again and newcomer Corin while also expanding his support base. Lord of Blood also retained the General position he received after the resignation of Lycastus. The newly elected Judge Lady Amanda outraced informal runner Lady Lilith again in a tight competition with other two excellent opponents. And then once again Gregor as the Banker. The Fontanese Digest congratulates all winners and looks forward to yet another successful month in our realm.

Victory in Dulbin: Successful Defence of A New Region

Reports are reaching Fontan City that the Fontanese Army was successful in the defence of the newest region to join our realm, Dulbin. The Oligarchian army, backed by the "Perdan Murderous Wrath", an infamous branch of Perdan Mobile Forces, launched an attack on the army of Fontan immediately after a successful TO on the region. The battle was really close but yet again the Fontanese troops came out on the top, proving that it is a top notch force and that man for man is a match for the armies of the Southern Alliance. The Fontanese Digest would like to congratulate General Lord of Blood and the Fontanese Army for its victory. Keep it up guys!

Debacle: Yssaria's Attempt on Tokat Failed

The takeover attempt by Yssarian Army on Tokat, inherently a Fontanese region, was halted on October 8th with the showing up of an overwhelming Caligan forces from the north. The Yssarian Army experienced their first defeat in a long time on their war against Caligus. "The battle in Tokat was our wake up call! We don't win battles anymore just by showing up. For the first time in months Caligus has a High Marshal who knows what he is doing," said Prandur, High Marshal of Yssaria, "and actually, he is the only Caligus High Marshal who has my respect." Following their victory in Tokat, the Caligan forces further launched a TO in Aureus, trying to reclaim their lost lands while the Yssarians are regrouping in Supra. The Fontanese Digest will keep its eyes on this latest event as it develops.

UPDATE: The conflict between two sides met a temporary rest after the Caligan forces performed a successful TO on Aureus. Whether this event will become the turning point in the war between Yssaria and Caligus stays unclear, which can only be answered by time itself.
