Lady Gabriella Executes Silunaia Galmel

Today brings both good and ill news. On the same day that we learn Prime Minister Meristenzio has won his honor duel, we learn the sad fate of Dame Silunaia Galmel. She had been imprisoned by Fontan for a second time, and while in prison had written this letter:

Prime Minister Meristenzio,I wirte you using a shread of parchment and the blood stains in my rags. Not a day goes by without Judge Gabriella torturing me.There is no way to tell how much of it actually happens, and how much of it remains in my nightmare,or whether I remain in one or the other now.Send word to my father that I love him,in case I meet my end at the gallows.

To add to this torture, as of this morning the news is that Lady Gabriella has just executed Dame Silunaia. This has considerably hardened Sironites versus the people of Fontan by extension. Already some are calling for the complete annihilation of Fontan. - Sanford

Duel to the Death!

Our very own Prime Minister, Sir Meristenzio Peristaltico, met on the plains of Obando versus Sir Leandros Galvez, Grand Vezir of Sultanate of Asena, for an agreed upon duel till death. As the sun rose, this 24th of December, the duel began. Sir Leandros appeared to attempt to use trick moves to put the Prime Minister off-balance, but Sir Meristenzio aggressively tore though his meager tricks and defenses, finally delivering a fatal blow.

The healers of Sir Leandros carried him away, and word is that he though grievously wounded he is still clinging to life. - Sanford

Lady Gabriella Tortures Dame Silunaia

Lady Gabriella has been busy this month. Dame Silunaia Galmel has just made her return back to the realm, on Dec 10th, and mentioned that while she was in Fontan's prison she was tortured by Lady Gabriella. That makes the third noble from Sirion that Lady Gabriella has tortured. - Sanford

Sirion Signs Peace Treaty with Westmoor!

In another first, the Elven Tribune is pleased to report that the realms of Sirion and Westmoor have signed a peace treaty. The treaty appears to have been brokered by Caligus, as an independent third-party. The Elven Tribune is fortunate in that we were able to procure a copy of the treaty, verbatim!

1. Peace treaty is to last 6 months after signed of the deal. No realm can lower relations with another below peace.
2. Caligus is maintaining a defensive pact with Perdan therefore if Westmoor are the aggressors in a war against Perdan Caligus will be forced to lower relations and thus void clause 1. This does not count if Perdan are the aggressors however.
3. Westmoor is to pay Sirion 1000 gold in repairs for years of attacks on Sirion.
4. Westmoor is to promise not to give any sort of aid to Fontan or SoA.
Signed,
Dobromir Menethil, King of Caligus
Jor Tanos, King of Westmoor
Meristenzio Peristaltico, Prime Minister of Sirion

Lady Gabriella Tortures Sir Lucian

Lady Gabriella's reign of torture is still continuing. Just today (December 6) Sir Lucian Invictus returned to Sirion, and he reports that while he was rotting in Fontan's prison he was tortured by Lady Gabriella. This is the second torture of a Sirion noble to date (the other being Sir Dallian Alumaani). She also threatened Sir Jun Hinamoto with torture, but he managed to escape in time. - Sanford

Election Results

The results are in, and once again it was a landslide victory for the incumbents. Prime Minster Meristenzio Peristaltico gained 84% of the votes, and Judge Erik Eyolf gainted 56% of the votes (twice what the next most popular candidate received).
